From the neighborhoods of Mahal and Manewada to Lakshmi Nagar and Besa Pipla, the spirit of celebration was palpable. Youth groups energetically performed traditional lezim dances, recited powada ballads, and led spirited dhol-tasha processions. Prominent squares were adorned with rows of saffron flags, while portraits of Shivaji Maharaj were beautifully decorated with fresh garlands and artistic lighting installations. Ceremonial Commencement at Mahal's Shivtirth

At the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk in Mahal, widely regarded as the city's sacred 'Shivtirth,' the Shri Shivrajyabhishek Sohala Samiti initiated the day's festivities with a sacred 'doodh abhishek' ceremony at 6 AM. This ritual milk offering to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj formally commenced the anniversary celebrations. A significant blood donation camp organized at this venue successfully collected 65 units of blood during the day, contributing to a cumulative total of 396 units gathered through various commemorative drives leading up to the symbolic coronation ceremony. The program featured traditional conch shell blowing, captivating performances by the Mahila Mudra Pathak, Shivswaroop, and Shivmudra Pathak troupes, and concluded with a majestic palanquin procession carrying the revered image of Shivaji Maharaj through the surrounding area.

Official Tributes and Political Participation

Government offices, including the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and the Divisional Commissionerate, observed the occasion with formal tribute ceremonies at their respective headquarters. At the NMC, floral tributes were respectfully offered to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
