The event is jointly organized by the Pashchim Nagpur Nagrik Sangh and Shri Ram Mandir. This year marks the 51st edition of the annual celebration, following last year's semi-centennial milestone. The procession will pass through major areas of West Nagpur, allowing residents to participate and witness the spectacle. It will conclude back at Shri Ram Mandir, symbolizing a spiritual journey through the community. This event not only honors religious traditions but also fosters community bonding and cultural preservation.

Organizers have emphasized that the celebrations are designed to be inclusive, welcoming devotees from all backgrounds. The festival serves as a testament to Nagpur's rich heritage and its commitment to maintaining age-old customs in a modern context.
