Varanasi Celebrates Navratri and Ramnavami with Sacred Rituals
In the holy city of Varanasi, a series of profound religious ceremonies marked the convergence of Navratri's ninth day, known as Navami, and the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami on Friday. At the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, priests orchestrated a special havan, a sacred fire ritual, in the temple chowk, drawing participation from numerous devotees who gathered at Kashi Vishwanath Dham to seek blessings and spiritual solace.

Simultaneously, the Chaitra Navratri festivities reached their culmination at Aghorpeeth, located at 'Baba Keenaram Sthal Kreem-Kund' in Ravindrapuri. The nine-day period involved prayers to the nine forms of Goddess Durga, culminating in Kanya Pujan, a ritual honoring young girls as embodiments of the goddess. Under the guidance of Peethadhishwar Baba Siddharth Gautam Ram Ji, the morning aarti-pujan at the ashram set the stage for this significant event.
Nine girls, representing the nine divine forms, along with a boy symbolizing Bhairav Baba, were warmly welcomed and seated. Devotees then served them meals and presented gifts, adhering to the tradition of venerating the feminine divine and fostering community harmony.
