Shilpa Patil, a resident and member of the organizing committee, expressed the significance of this year's theme. "This year, it was very special for us because it was all women who handled the entire program and all the events", she said. "Residents from other countries staying here loved our Kannada cultural celebrations, and such gatherings increase the bond within ourselves as well."
