According to official statements from the temple management authority, the total collection over the past quarter amounted to an impressive Rs 2 crore. This sum comprises a diverse array of offerings, including cash, gold ornaments, and silver ornaments, all placed by devotees as tokens of their faith and reverence.

It is a long-standing tradition at the Yellamma temple for visitors to express their devotion by depositing money, gold, and silver items into the hundi. The counting of these offerings was conducted in three distinct stages from January 19 to January 23, ensuring accuracy and transparency in the process.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Roshan highlighted that the amount of money offered to the Goddess by devotees is witnessing a steady increase each day. He emphasized that the funds collected at the Yellamma temple will be strategically utilized to enhance infrastructure for devotees and support various development projects aimed at improving the temple complex.
