Right Way to Make Besan Pyaz Ka Paratha

Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tsp ginger
- 2 small onions
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tsp ghee
- 1/4 tsp carom seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup besan
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/4 tsp kasuri methi
- A pinch of black salt
- 2 tsp coriander leaves
- Ghee for cooking
Step 1
Add flour, salt, and ghee in a mixing bowl.
Step 2
Add water to knead a soft dough, cover, and set it aside.
Step 3
For the filling, finely chop onion, chilli, and coriander leaves, and add to a deep mixing bowl.
Step 4
To this, add besan, spices, and ghee. Combine well to make a spicy stuffing.
Step 5
Divide the dough into small balls and fill each ball with 2 teaspoons of the stuffing.
Step 6
Roll out parathas using a rolling pin and flour dust. Meanwhile, preheat the tawa.
Step 7
Place the paratha on the tawa, cook it using enough ghee on both sides. Once ready, serve hot with curd and pickle on the side.
