Rajma and Broccoli Tikki Recipe

Rajma and Broccoli Tikki is a healthy and less-oil snack dish. If you are craving something high in protein and fiber, try this easy recipe that can be made at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled rajma
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tsp rice flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1/2 capsicum
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 tsp amchur (dry mango) powder
  • Oil for cooking

Step 1

Take boiled rajma in a mixing bowl and mash it well.

Step 2

Add chopped broccoli to the mashed rajma and combine them well.

Step 3

Add besan, rice flour, salt, and all spices. Mix well. Add a little more flour if the mixture is too wet.

Step 4

Chop coriander leaves and green chilies, add them to the mixture, and mix thoroughly.

Step 5

Shape the mixture into tikkis (patties) and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Heat a pan, grease it with ghee or oil, and place the tikkis. Cook on low-medium flame from both sides until golden brown.

Step 7

Once done, serve hot with mint and coriander chutney and tomato ketchup on the side.
