Global Youth Festival Mumbai: 15,000+ Youth to Gather on Dec 6-7
Global Youth Festival Mumbai: Shaping Future Leaders

Mumbai is set to become the epicenter of youth empowerment as it prepares to host the sixth edition of the Global Youth Festival on December 6 and 7. Organized by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur, this massive gathering promises to transform the city into a hub of inspiration and growth for young change-makers.

What Awaits at Mumbai's Global Youth Festival

The festival expects to welcome over 15,000 attendees who will explore 60 carefully curated experiences spread across six thematic arenas. These dedicated spaces will focus on crucial areas of development including personal wellbeing, professional skill-building, arts and culture appreciation, social impact initiatives, and youth leadership cultivation.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will officially inaugurate the festival, lending his support to the platform's mission of developing "conscious, future-ready leadership" among India's youth. The movement brings with it a proven history of meaningful civic engagement that extends far beyond mere performance and spectacle.

Beyond Entertainment: A Catalyst for Change

According to Dr Alok Shah, the festival coordinator, GYF distinguishes itself from single-theme festivals by positioning as an ecosystem of experiences designed to foster both inner growth and outward action. "This is not merely a weekend of entertainment," insists Dr Shah, "but a catalyst that urges young people to return to work on Monday changed, charged, and more alive."

The festival's track record includes organizing large-scale charity cyclothons and rural upliftment expos that connect important causes across healthcare, animal welfare, and community support sectors.

Star-Studded Lineup and Musical Extravaganza

This year's speaker roster brings together an impressive array of accomplished professionals from diverse fields. Attendees will hear from actress-dancer Malaika Arora; Dipali Goenka, CEO of Welspun India; Nilesh Shah, Managing Director at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management; Diipa Büller-Khosla, founder of indē wild; Praveer Sinha, CEO of Tata Power; and Aarti Shah, board member at NVIDIA.

The main stage will come alive with diverse musical performances featuring this year's Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2025 winner Stebin Ben, the viral bhajan-jamming sensation duo Backstage Siblings, the rockstar Bollywood duo Mahadevan Brothers, and the soft pop-rock band Last Minute India.

In keeping with its philanthropic ethos, all proceeds from the festival will be directed toward national charitable initiatives, ensuring that the event's positive impact extends far beyond its two-day duration. Previous editions of GYF have been successfully held in international cities like London and domestic locations including Pune.
