Departures are scheduled for two key periods: September 21 to October 12, 2026 (currently on waitlist only) and August 30 to September 22, 2027 (pending confirmation). The train is part of the Golden Eagle Luxury Trains collection, featuring en-suite cabins that convert from day lounges to night bedrooms, a bar lounge with a baby grand piano, and high-end dining inspired by regional cuisines. Prices start at $50,700 per person for double occupancy, inclusive of accommodations, most meals, guided excursions, gratuities, emergency evacuation services, and secondary medical insurance.
Day-by-Day Journey Highlights
Days 1–3: Imperial Beijing – The adventure begins in Beijing, where travelers stay at a luxury hotel while exploring China’s imperial past and modern transformation. Highlights include walking the Great Wall of China and touring the Forbidden City, complemented by visits to contemporary architectural landmarks before boarding the train westward.
Days 4–5: Warriors of Xi’an – In Xi’an, guests witness the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army, with thousands of life-sized clay soldiers. Evenings feature curated dining experiences accompanied by traditional music and dance, setting the stage for the journey deeper into China’s interior.
