The New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) welcomed the MS Sirena cruise vessel on Sunday, marking the third cruise ship arrival of the current season. This significant event highlights Mangaluru's growing prominence as a key port of call on international cruise itineraries.

The MS Sirena, sailing under the Marshall Islands flag and operated by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, arrived at New Mangalore Port around 9 AM. The vessel had traveled from Kochi as part of its international itinerary that includes Colombo, Kochi, Mangaluru, Goa, and Mumbai.
The cruise liner carried 619 passengers and 390 crew members, who were greeted with a traditional welcome at the cruise terminal. This warm reception reflected the rich culture and hospitality that coastal Karnataka is renowned for worldwide.
