The Uttar Pradesh tourism department is set to host a significant workshop titled "Viksit Uttar Pradesh @ 2047 – Workshop on Tourism" in Lucknow on November 27, 2025. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh emphasized the workshop's strategic importance, noting that Uttar Pradesh has witnessed remarkable growth in foreign travelers and recorded over 109.65 crore domestic visits so far this year. "This workshop has been conceptualized to translate this momentum into a clear roadmap that is forward-looking, investment-ready and community-centred, ensuring we position the state as a world-class tourism hub," Singh stated.

The workshop will commence with a welcome speech by Rajesh Kumar, Director General Tourism, followed by an address from Awanish Awasthi, Advisor to the Chief Minister.
