In a significant demonstration of its growing missile prowess, India successfully conducted a test-firing of two Pralay tactical ballistic missiles from a single launcher on Tuesday. The test, carried out by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), marks a crucial step in validating the missile system's operational capabilities for the armed forces.

The test firing took place from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island, located off the coast of Odisha. According to defence sources, the primary objective of this trial was to evaluate the capability of launching multiple missiles in a quick succession from one mobile launcher. Both missiles reportedly met all their mission parameters, with the test being deemed a complete success by the scientific team involved.
