Ahmedabad: In a startling revelation, the recently declared results of the Chief Minister Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Exam have shown that a significant majority of students performed poorly. Out of the 5.11 lakh students who appeared for the examination, a staggering 3.8 lakh students have secured less than 40% marks. Only nine students managed to score more than 90% (108 marks), while 283 students from 228 schools achieved scores above 80% (96 marks).
A total of 10,936 students from 4,968 schools scored more than 60% (72 marks), and 39,696 students from 11,362 schools scored more than 50% (60 marks). Remarkably, only two students scored between 92% and 95% marks.
