The Congress party on Tuesday demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over technical glitches faced by students during the CBSE board examinations. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera alleged that the minister owes answers to the students and parents who were affected by the disruptions.

Several students across the country reported issues with the CBSE's online platform while attempting the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. The glitches included login failures, freezing of screens, and submission errors, causing anxiety among examinees. The Congress claimed that the government's negligence led to these problems.
Political reactions
Khera stated, "Mantri Pradhan should resign. Pradhan Mantri owes answers to the nation." He accused the government of being ill-prepared and insensitive to the needs of students. The opposition party has demanded a thorough investigation and compensation for affected students.
The CBSE has acknowledged the technical issues and assured that steps are being taken to resolve them. However, the Congress remains unconvinced, calling for accountability at the highest level.
