The administration has established three distinct types of monitoring squads across the city's wards. Static surveillance teams will be stationed at key locations, while videography units will document campaigns and public gatherings to collect evidence. Commissioner's Directives for Ward-Wise Vigilance
Municipal Commissioner and District Election Officer, Bhushan Gagrani, has issued clear instructions to these specially formed units. According to an official civic release, Gagrani has directed the squads to maintain constant vigilance throughout their assigned wards. Their primary mandate is to ensure all political actors and parties strictly adhere to the election code.
