Coimbatore: In a significant political shift, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) emerged as the leading party in Tirupur district, winning four of the eight assembly constituencies in the latest election results. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) secured two seats each, marking a major change from the 2021 assembly election.
