According to police reports, the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to jump and flip over the W-beam highway barrier before ultimately landing in an adjacent field. The impact was so powerful that the cement block anchoring the highway barrier became dislodged from its position.

All five occupants of the vehicle were thrown from the SUV during the violent crash sequence. Local residents quickly rushed to the scene to provide assistance to the injured family members while awaiting emergency medical services.

The injured individuals, identified as Nidhi Shah, Sangeeta Shah, Amisha Shah, Kokila Shah, and Karan Shah, were initially transported to Godhra Civil Hospital via the 108 ambulance service. Following preliminary treatment, medical professionals referred them to SSG Hospital in Vadodara for more comprehensive care and advanced medical treatment.

Police investigation revealed that the family was traveling to Madhya Pradesh to attend a wedding ceremony when the tragic accident interrupted their journey.
