Aligarh Police Execute Swift Rescue Operation, Arrest Two in Kidnapping Case

In a dramatic turn of events in Uttar Pradesh, police in Aligarh successfully rescued a kidnapped man within a mere five hours on Sunday. The abduction, which occurred in the Gonda area of the district, was allegedly orchestrated by the father and brother of a woman with whom the victim had previously eloped.

Details of the Kidnapping and Motive

According to official statements from the Aligarh Rural Superintendent of Police, Amrit Jain, the victim, identified as Sachin Kumar, was assaulted and abducted at approximately 10 am. The accused, Hemu and Vinod, reportedly used a motorcycle to transport him towards the Gonda police station area. Initial investigations revealed that the kidnapping was planned with the intent to murder, stemming from Sachin Kumar's elopement with a girl from the accused's family just days earlier. A case regarding the elopement had already been registered, which police believe served as the primary motive for this violent act.

Police Response and Successful Operation

Upon receiving the information, Aligarh police immediately launched a large-scale search operation. Teams swiftly sealed exit routes and established multiple checkpoints across the area. The district squad and rural squad teams conducted coordinated raids at several locations, utilizing surveillance techniques to track the perpetrators.

SP Amrit Jain elaborated, "Taking immediate cognisance of this information, Aligarh police set up roadblocks in all areas. The district squad team and rural squad team also established checkpoints and conducted raids at several locations using surveillance." This proactive approach enabled authorities to trace and rescue Sachin Kumar within five hours, ensuring his safe recovery. The police also seized a Bullet motorcycle allegedly used in the kidnapping and arrested the woman's father and brother in connection with the crime. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.

Separate Incident: Bomb Threat on Tejas Rajdhani Express

Commanding Officer of RPF Aligarh, Gulzar Singh, stated, "We received information from Delhi Control about a bomb threat on board. As soon as we received the information, our entire BDS team, the local police, the Station House Officer, the civil authorities, our dog scouts, the BDS team, and the fire brigade officers, the divisional officers from here, checked the train...
