Furthermore, the Kottapadi police on Thursday detained a 35-year-old man, Sujon Ali, who is reportedly a citizen of Bangladesh. Acting on a tip-off, authorities discovered that Ali was residing and working illegally at a plywood company in Thrikkariyoor, Ernakulam. Investigations revealed that the visa in his possession had expired at the end of May 2023, leading to his arrest for overstaying and violating immigration laws.
