In a shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh's Balrampur district, police have arrested a 40-year-old man accused of attempting to sexually assault his minor daughter and trying to murder his teenage son when the boy courageously intervened to save his sister. The disturbing events unfolded on Wednesday night within the jurisdiction of the Maharajganj Tarai police station. According to the official complaint filed at the station, the accused father allegedly engaged in obscene acts with his underage daughter inside their home. The situation took a violent turn when the girl's 16-year-old brother stepped in to protect his sister from their father's assault.
Police officials stated that the accused, enraged by his son's intervention, turned his aggression towards the boy. The man allegedly grabbed his son by the neck in an attempt to strangle him with the clear intention of killing him. During this brutal attack, the teenage boy sustained critical injuries.

SP Vikash Kumar revealed that the accused had four children, all minors, and had a history of exploiting them. He further disclosed that the same man was arrested four years ago in connection with the murder of his wife and was out on bail at the time of this latest crime.
