A devastating tractor accident claimed the lives of two women in Banda district on Sunday morning, sending shockwaves through the local community. The incident occurred in Amaraiya Purwa village under the jurisdiction of Baberu police station.

Details of the Fatal Incident

The victims, identified as Parvati (45), wife of late Buddhi Vilas of Amaraiya Purwa, and Bitti (60), wife of Bhupat of Parsauli, were from the same family. According to police reports, the women were sitting near a bonfire when tragedy struck.

Dev Kumar (35), son of Shiv Lochan from the same village, started his tractor without realizing it was in second gear. The vehicle suddenly lurched forward and crushed the two women who were sitting nearby.

Aftermath and Police Investigation

The tractor driver, Dev Kumar, was also critically injured in the incident and received immediate medical attention. Station Officer Inspector Rajendra Singh Rajawat confirmed that post-mortem formalities are currently underway.

Police authorities have stated that further action will be taken based on the family's formal complaint. The local community has been left in mourning following the sudden loss of two family members in what appears to be a tragic accident.
