Family's Tragic Discovery After Alleged Accident Turns to Murder
A shocking case of patricide has come to light in the Bajju police station area of Bikaner, where a 78-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his own son. According to police officials, the deceased, Gopi Ram, lived with his wife and son, Yograj. Another son from the family lived separately. The tragic events unfolded on the day of the incident when only Gopi Ram and Yograj were present at home.
When the mother returned, Yograj allegedly informed her that his father had suffered a fatal fall, resulting in a head injury. Trusting their family member's account, the grieving relatives proceeded with the burial rites, completely unaware of the horrifying truth.
Anonymous Tip Leads to Grisly Discovery
The case took a drastic turn when an anonymous villager contacted the police, revealing that a violent fight had broken out between the father and son, leading to Gopi Ram's death. Acting swiftly on this information, officers immediately contacted the family and reached the village to investigate the serious allegations.
A medical board conducted a post-mortem examination after the body was exhumed, and the autopsy findings painted a gruesome picture completely different from the accidental fall narrative. The examination revealed deep wounds consistent with an axe attack.
"Yograj attacked his father on the head and neck with an axe. The blow was so severe that the neck was nearly cut. There were also deep wounds on the hands and legs," an official stated, describing the brutality of the assault.
Based on the compelling medical evidence and investigation, police have registered a murder case and arrested the accused son, Yograj, who now faces serious charges for the alleged murder of his father.
