A tragic incident in Kanpur's Ghatampur town has claimed the life of a suspended Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. The jawan died on Saturday after reportedly falling into a water-filled pit located near his residence in the Kushmanda Nagar area.

According to reports, the incident occurred near the jawan's home. After he fell into the pit, his family members immediately rushed him to the local community health centre for treatment. Unfortunately, the doctors at the centre declared him dead upon arrival.
