A family in Karnataka's Shivamogga district narrowly escaped injury when a wall collapsed onto their house on Tuesday. No one was hurt, but the property suffered extensive damage.

The collapse occurred at a residence belonging to Thangavelu, who was present with his family at the time. The wall gave way without warning, causing debris to fall across the home's structure. Neighbors rushed to assist, but the family had already moved to safety.
Damage and Appeal
The house sustained significant structural damage, with walls and roofing affected. Thangavelu has appealed to the state government for compensation to cover the losses. He stated, "We are grateful no one was injured, but our home is badly damaged. We need financial support to rebuild."
