Four Lives Lost in Devastating Head-On Collision Near Amravati
A horrific road accident near Amravati has left the community in mourning after a head-on collision between two speeding cars resulted in four immediate fatalities and one person sustaining serious injuries. The tragic incident occurred around 10 PM on Wednesday near Hanuman Mandir at Sayat village on the Bhatkuli-Daryapur road in the district.
Details of the Fatal Collision
According to preliminary information from authorities, the two vehicles were traveling at high speeds when they collided head-on. The impact was so severe that the front portions of both cars were completely mangled, leaving little chance for survival for those involved. The accident disrupted traffic on the road for some time as emergency services rushed to the scene.
Victims Identified in the Tragedy
The deceased have been identified as:
- Juned Khan (35), a resident of Juni Vasti, Badnera, who worked as a driver
- Mukund Eknath Kale (57), a resident of Yashoda Nagar, Amravati, who owned a garage in the Sainagar area
- Gopal Singh Rajpurohit (30) and Prem alias Prakash Kishanram Bishnoi (32), both residents of Bhatkuli who were natives of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and operated a sweetmart business in Bhatkuli
The critically injured person is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, with their condition described as serious.

Bhatkuli police station in-charge Raju Rajulwar, along with teams from both Bhatkuli and Walgaon police stations, conducted a thorough spot panchnama (inspection and documentation) at the accident site. The investigation aims to determine the exact cause of the collision and whether factors like excessive speed, road conditions, or other elements contributed to this devastating loss of life.
