According to police reports, the family was returning from a wedding ceremony in Chandigarh when the accident took place near Sardulewala village. The impact of the head-on collision was severe, leading to immediate fatalities among the car's occupants.
The deceased have been identified as Radha Devi, Ritu Bala, Usha Bansal, and Ashok Kumar. All four victims were traveling together in the same vehicle at the time of the tragic incident.

The car driver, identified as Sandeep Kumar, sustained injuries in the collision and is currently receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile, the truck driver reportedly fled the accident scene, abandoning his vehicle at the location.
Sardulgarh police station SHO Ganeshwar Kumar confirmed that the truck driver managed to escape from the spot, leaving behind the commercial vehicle. Police authorities have launched an intensive search operation to apprehend the fleeing driver.
