"A vehicle coming from the opposite direction struck their motorcycle on a sharp turn," explained Sonawane. "The impact caused all four men to be thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries. The driver of the unidentified vehicle failed to stop at the scene, fleeing immediately after the collision."
The accident site was situated in close proximity to the sugar cane farm where the victims had been working, adding to the tragedy's poignancy. Police authorities are currently investigating the purpose of their nighttime journey, as this detail remains unclear.
