According to police reports, the victim, identified as Pramod, a resident of ward number 13, was riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by Manish, a momo seller. Around 6:30 PM, an unidentified vehicle, allegedly coming from the opposite direction, struck them at high speed. The impact was severe, and the vehicle fled the scene immediately, leaving the victims in critical condition.
Pramod and Manish were on their way to deliver momo to Khera Khurampur village when the collision occurred. A complaint filed by Pramod's brother, Pawan, details that the vehicle rammed into them without warning, underscoring the reckless nature of the driver's actions.
Aftermath and Police Response
Following the accident, Pramod was rushed to the government hospital in Sector 10, where he was declared dead upon arrival. Manish, the motorcycle driver, sustained injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Kherki Daula for treatment. His condition is currently under medical supervision.
