Indore: Violent Clash Over Girl Leaves Two Youths Seriously Injured
In a disturbing incident in Indore, two youths sustained serious injuries following a violent altercation between two rival groups in the Rau area on Sunday morning. The confrontation escalated rapidly, with both parties resorting to physical assaults and stone-pelting, resulting in significant damage to an SUV before the groups fled the scene.

The injured individuals are currently undergoing intensive medical treatment at a private hospital. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Krishna Lalchandani, the root cause of the conflict was a dispute over a girl. "A fight broke out between two groups over a girl, which quickly escalated into a violent confrontation," stated DCP Lalchandani. He confirmed that cross FIRs have been registered in connection with the violence, and a thorough police investigation is actively underway to ascertain all facts and hold the perpetrators accountable.

On the complaint of Shubham Sanghvi, a formal case has been registered against Vedant Tiwari, who serves as the Mandal vice-president of the BJP Yuva Morcha, along with Shreya and several others. Conversely, based on Shreya's complaint, a separate case has been filed against Shubham Sanghvi, Prakhar Sharma, Suraj, and Ashwin.
Prakhar Sharma provided his account of the events, alleging that his group was returning in their SUV after having tea at a cafe in the Kishanganj area when they were purportedly chased by the opposing group. "Our vehicle was intercepted mid-way, and we were brutally assaulted," claimed Prakhar. In a conflicting statement, Vedant Tiwari asserted that his group was the one attacked by the rival faction, highlighting the contentious nature of the incident.
