Root Cause and Sequence of Events

According to police reports, the incident unfolded during a feast organized at the residence of Haji Khan in the Mohangarh area. At the gathering, a heated argument broke out between Murid Khan and Haji Khan. It was revealed that the dispute was triggered by Murid Khan's family not being invited to the feast, which escalated tensions rapidly.

Following the argument, Haji Khan allegedly called his associates for support. Shortly after, a group of 15 to 20 people arrived in 5 vehicles and launched an attack on Murid Khan's house in Sadarau village. The assailants reportedly used sticks and stones during the assault, causing severe injuries. Women present in the house at the time were also seriously injured in the violent attack.

Police Response and Investigation

Mohangarh Station House Officer (SHO) Baburam Delu swiftly reached the spot with a police team and managed to bring the volatile situation under control. In the aftermath, police detained 6 individuals from both sides involved in the clash. Authorities have stated that efforts are actively underway to arrest others who participated in the violence.

The SHO provided further insight, indicating that the clash occurred due to an old rivalry between the two families, which was exacerbated by the invitation dispute. To prevent any further escalation, police forces have been deployed in the village to maintain peace and order. Currently, statements from both parties are being meticulously recorded, and legal proceedings have been initiated to address the incident comprehensively.
