A home guard named Prabir Dey intercepted a west-bound motorcycle for an alleged traffic signal violation near the iconic Hind Cinema. The rider was later identified as Zeeshan Fahim Siddiquie, a resident of Titagarh.
Assault on Home Guard
The complainant, Sergeant Suman Chatterjee, detailed that upon being stopped, Siddiquie allegedly struck Home Guard Dey in the face. The assault did not stop there; the accused also damaged Dey's uniform and forcibly snatched a government-issued wireless manpack set from him. Confrontation with Sergeant
