A shocking and tragic incident has unfolded in Kota, Rajasthan, where a 17-year-old Class 11 student was brutally attacked and killed, with police citing a rivalry over likes on social media reels as the alleged motive. The victim, identified as Shubham Sain, a resident of Jaga Basti in Prem Nagar, was returning home from a marriage party when he was ambushed by 2-3 youths. According to Circle Inspector Jitendra Singh of Udhyog Nagar, the assailants attacked Shubham with iron rods and stabbed him with a knife, inflicting severe and fatal injuries primarily to his stomach.
Shubham collapsed at the scene, bleeding profusely, and was immediately rushed to the New Medical College Hospital. Tragically, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival, unable to save his life due to the grievous nature of his wounds.
Police Investigation and Suspects
Based on a report filed by family members, the police have registered a murder case against two youths, identified as Vishal and Raj Baccha. These suspects fled the crime scene immediately after the attack and remain at large, with authorities actively pursuing leads to trace and apprehend them.
