The accident took place on Tuesday evening around 6:30 PM. Ravi Kumar was trying to board the KSR Bengaluru-Kolar passenger train at Yeshwanthpur station. As the train began to move, he lost his balance and fell between the platform and the moving train. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Railway police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the circumstances. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Officials have urged passengers to exercise caution and avoid boarding moving trains.
