Two Face Charges for Moral Policing
In the first case, authorities took two people into custody following complaints of moral policing. He was traveling on a motorcycle on Malali Narlapadavi Road, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Bajpe police station. Notably, he was accompanied by his 11-year-old daughter at the time. During the check, police found that he was carrying 19 kg of beef without any valid documents permitting its transport or sale.
Police Action and Ongoing Investigations
Following the discovery, Abdul Sattar Mullarpatna was immediately taken into custody. He has been booked for the illegal transportation of beef, a sensitive issue in the region governed by specific state laws. The two individuals involved in the separate moral policing case have also been formally charged.
All three cases underscore the Mangaluru police's active stance on maintaining public order and enforcing the law. Investigations into both matters are ongoing as of 27 December 2025.
