Incident in Hamirpur
In Hamirpur, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 16-year-old classmate. The accused, a minor, lured the victim to an isolated place and committed the crime. The victim reported the incident to her parents, who then filed a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Indian Penal Code. The accused has been taken into custody and is being interrogated.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition is reported to be stable.
Legal Action
The police have registered a case against Rajesh Kumar under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for attempt to murder and domestic violence. He has been arrested and is currently in police custody. The police are investigating the motive behind the attack.
