In a harrowing incident that unfolded in Nagpur's Gaddigodam area, a 23-year-old mother demonstrated remarkable courage by fighting off four transgender individuals who allegedly attempted to kidnap her four-month-old son from their residence on Monday afternoon. According to the detailed statement provided by the mother, Mehvish Khan, to the Jaripatka police, the four accused quietly entered her home while she was engaged in her afternoon prayers. Rather than seeking alms as is customary, one of the intruders proceeded to lift the sleeping infant, Hasnain, from his cradle with the apparent intention of walking away with the child. Mehvish's other son, two-year-old Armaan, was playing nearby at the time.
Startled by the sudden intrusion, Mehvish immediately pushed the individual, forcing them to drop the infant onto the bed. Following this swift action, all four accused fled the house in haste. Demonstrating remarkable presence of mind, Mehvish promptly ran to her brother Salman Salim Ansari's house, located in the same lane, and raised an alarm to alert the neighborhood.
