In a significant development in Noida, a 26-year-old man has been arrested by police in connection with a road accident that occurred on Wednesday night in the Ecotech-3 area. Complainant's Dramatic Allegations Versus Investigative Findings
The case came to light when Shivam Thakur, a renowned shooting champion who has represented India at national and international levels and won over 30 medals, filed a police complaint. Thakur alleged that while driving home in his Grand Vitara car, a white Bolero vehicle rammed into him from behind. He claimed the occupants of the Bolero chased him for more than half a kilometer, intentionally colliding with his car twice to force him to stop, and then opened fire with intent to kill when he refused to halt.
However, preliminary police investigation painted a starkly different picture. After registering an FIR based on Thakur's complaint, the Ecotech-3 police team launched a probe, meticulously examining CCTV footage from the vicinity. This footage was crucial in identifying the registration number of the Bolero vehicle involved.

Police have firmly dismissed rumors of gunfire associated with the event. An officer stated, "No evidence of firing or use of any weapon emerged during the investigation."
