More than 24 hours have elapsed since the alleged kidnapping of a seven-year-old boy in Prayagraj, yet police remain clueless about his whereabouts. The incident occurred outside his residence at Saraykala village, under the jurisdiction of the Manda police station, on Saturday.

According to authorities, the child, an LKG student at a school in Akora, was dropped off by his school van driver at approximately 3 pm in front of his house. His grandfather was waiting to receive him when unknown individuals in a van approached, inquiring about the address of Jamaia village. In a sudden and alarming move, they pulled the boy into the vehicle and fled the scene.
Senior police officials, including the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Meja), swiftly arrived at the location after being alerted and initiated a thorough investigation. At least eight specialized police teams have been mobilized to rescue the boy, with efforts focused on tracking down the perpetrators.
Investigation Challenges and Family Background
DCP (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav stated that the motive behind the abduction is still unclear, as the family has not received any ransom calls and has not expressed suspicion against anyone. He noted that the family's economic condition is not very strong, with the father working in Mumbai, but emphasized that this does not necessarily point to a financial motive.
