A devastating incident unfolded at Basai railway station in Datia district on Friday evening, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old boy who was allegedly attempting to create a social media reel. The teenager, identified as Aniket Ahirwar, lost his life after being electrocuted while climbing a stationary freight train.

According to police reports, Aniket Ahirwar, a resident of Basai and a student, climbed onto a freight train wagon at the station with the intention of shooting a video. Upon receiving information about the incident, a Dial 112 team promptly arrived at the scene. The responders rushed the critically injured teenager to a nearby hospital, where doctors, after examination, declared him dead upon arrival.
