He stated that the body of the young victim was found in the Indira Sagar Canal, located in the Rajpur police station area of the district. The post-mortem report, as revealed by Dawar, confirmed severe injuries to the girl's private parts, indicating sexual assault. Furthermore, the report attributed her cause of death to drowning, corroborating the initial suspicions of foul play.
