In the first incident, a couple traveling on a two-wheeler from Kulithalai towards Trichy was hit from behind by another two-wheeler while attempting to take a right turn near Allur. According to police reports, the collision caused the female pillion rider, identified as Sivagami, a resident of Guziliamparai in Dindigul district, to fall and sustain injuries. The Jeeyapuram police have registered a case in connection with this accident and are investigating the circumstances leading to the rear-end collision.

In a separate incident near Kambarasampettai, a car heading towards Karur rammed into a roadside fruit shop after exiting a petrol bunk around 3:30 PM. Police stated that the driver panicked when a two-wheeler approached from the opposite direction and allegedly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. This error resulted in the vehicle crashing into the shop, causing significant damage. A male shopkeeper suffered a leg fracture in the crash and was provided medical attention. Authorities are examining the driver's actions and vehicle condition as part of their inquiry.
