Panic and alarm gripped the Varanasi district court campus early Thursday morning after a chilling bomb threat was received via email on the District Judge's official account. The threatening message, which arrived at precisely 1:30 AM, warned of an imminent explosion intended to blow up the court premises, sending shockwaves through the legal community and prompting an immediate emergency response.

As soon as the threatening email was discovered, Bar officials convened an urgent meeting to assess the situation and coordinate a response. Simultaneously, an atmosphere of intense commotion and anxiety prevailed throughout the court premises as news of the threat spread rapidly among staff, advocates, and visitors.
In response to the grave threat, court security was immediately and significantly increased. Senior police officials, including DCP of the Varuna zone, Pramod Kumar, and Cantt Inspector Shivakant Mishra, swiftly mobilized a comprehensive search operation.
