Gang Background and Police Investigation
Sub-inspector Rakesh provided details on the gang's operations, noting that gangster Noni Rana, whose brother Kala Rana is currently incarcerated, runs the gang from abroad with associates such as Anil alias Monu Gujjar, Ankit Giri, and Shubham Pandit. The gang has been allegedly involved in multiple cases of murder, extortion, and attempt to murder across the region.
Yamunanagar SP Kamal Deep Goyal stated that the case appears to be linked to extortion and creating fear in the community. He emphasized that no policemen were injured during the encounter. Initial questioning of the arrested accused did not reveal a significant criminal background, indicating that the gang may be luring youth into criminal activities. Police are continuing their investigation to trace the wider criminal network and establish stronger gang links.
Further investigation is underway to uncover the full extent of the accused's criminal activities and their connections to the gang, with authorities working to ensure public safety and prevent future incidents.
