Vibhu Pathania, a resident of Thapkor village, holds a BSc and MSc in chemistry from MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, along with a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Instead of pursuing a corporate career, she dedicated herself to public service and rural development.

She emerged victorious in a triangular contest and has outlined an ambitious development agenda for her five-year tenure. Her priorities include strengthening basic infrastructure, improving public amenities, and launching anti-drug awareness campaigns.
