DMK parliamentarians will specifically seek the personal intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to approve metro network proposals for Madurai and Coimbatore. The party has expressed serious concern over the central government's rejection of these crucial infrastructure projects for Tamil Nadu's key urban centers.
The metro rail systems are considered vital for addressing growing transportation challenges in both cities.
