Karnataka Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Satish Jarkiholi has stated that the marginalisation of Ahinda (Alpasankhyatara, Hindulidavaru, and Dalitaru) communities is not a new phenomenon. Speaking to reporters, he emphasised that being targeted is something he has grown accustomed to over the years.
Minister addresses opposition criticism
Jarkiholi asserted that those opposed to his political stance use every opportunity to engage in negative campaigning. However, he maintained that no injustice has been done to him within the party, which has recognised his contributions by inducting him as a minister in the first list on both occasions.
Party recognition and resilience
The minister highlighted that his inclusion in the cabinet reflects the party's acknowledgment of his work. He added that despite repeated attempts to undermine him, he remains committed to serving the people and uplifting the Ahinda communities.
Jarkiholi's remarks come amid ongoing debates about the representation and welfare of backward classes in Karnataka. He urged the public to see through divisive tactics and focus on development.
