BJP Wins Asansol Uttar: Krishnendu Mukherjee Defeats TMC

In the Asansol Uttar assembly constituency of West Bengal's Paschim Bardhaman district, the Bharatiya Janata Party's Krishnendu Mukherjee emerged victorious with 1,04,516 votes. He defeated the Trinamool Congress candidate Moloy Ghatak by a margin of 11,615 votes. Ghatak, the sitting MLA, secured 92,901 votes in the contest.
