The final voter turnout figures for the assembly election in Tamil Nadu have been released, revealing minor adjustments from the tentative numbers across districts in the southern and central regions. The data indicates a largely stable polling pattern with slight variations.

Southern Districts

In Madurai district, the final turnout stood at 80.43%, marginally lower than the tentative estimate of 80.55%. A similar trend was observed in Virudhunagar, where the turnout settled at 84.85%, slightly down from 84.89%. Tirunelveli closed at 77.90%, almost unchanged from the earlier figure of 77.93%.

Dindigul continued to lead the southern region in voter participation, with the turnout edging up from 89.18% (tentative) to 89.21% (final), reaffirming its status as one of the most politically engaged districts. Theni also saw negligible variation, ending at 81.52%, nearly identical to the tentative data of 81.53%.

Ramanathapuram was the only district to register a noticeable downward revision, with the turnout decreasing from 77.03% to 76.86% after final verification. In Sivaganga, the turnout dipped marginally from 76.65% to 76.59%, while Tenkasi saw a small revision downward from 82.40% to 82.30%. Tuticorin recorded a final turnout of 80.50%, slightly below the tentative 80.55%.

At the lower end, Kanyakumari posted a final turnout of 75.55%, reflecting a marginal drop from the earlier figure of 75.61%.

Central Districts

In central Tamil Nadu, Karur district recorded the highest polling percentage at 92.65%, down from its earlier tentative estimate of 93.65%. It was followed by Ariyalur district at 87.42% (earlier 87.43%) and Nagapattinam at 86.21% (earlier 86.3%). Thanjavur district recorded the lowest turnout among the nine central districts at 80.60%, slightly up from 80.5% earlier. Mayiladuthurai district polled 82.09%, as against its initial estimate of 82.14%. Trichy district recorded 85.42%, marginally down from 85.44% earlier.

Constituency-Level Data

Among the 41 constituencies in the central districts, Karur recorded the highest polling percentage at 93.41%, followed by Aravakurichi with 91.77% and Viralimalai at 89.81%. Within Trichy district, Srirangam constituency recorded the highest polling at 87.9%, while Thiruverumbur registered the lowest at 81.20%.
