Himachal Pradesh Deputy CM and Industries Minister Inaugurate Key Road Project
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan officially launched the improvement and strengthening work on the Samnal-Pubowal road, via Baliwal, in the Haroli segment of Una district. The project, valued at Rs 15.25 crore, is designed to enhance road connectivity within the Haroli Industrial corridor, facilitating smoother transportation and economic growth.
Project Details and Benefits
The road improvement initiative involves widening and strengthening the existing infrastructure to enable efficient movement of goods and materials to and from the industrial area. Agnihotri emphasized that this development will not only support industrial logistics but also benefit local residents by improving their daily commute. He highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen the road network, including bridge constructions in Haroli, under various government programs aimed at fostering regional development.
Industrial Development and Future Prospects
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan reiterated the state government's commitment to accelerating industrial progress. He pointed to the upcoming Rs 2,000 crore Bulk Drug Park project in the Haroli segment as a significant economic booster. This ambitious initiative is expected to generate numerous direct and indirect job opportunities for people in Haroli and neighboring areas, contributing to overall state prosperity.
Site Inspection and Administrative Directions
Following the inauguration, Chauhan conducted an inspection of the ongoing works at the Bulk Drug Park site in Polian village. He chaired a meeting with officers from the Public Works Department, Jal Shakti, Electricity Board, and the implementing agency, Ceigall India Pvt Ltd. During the meeting, he reviewed various aspects of the project and directed officials to expedite the ongoing works. Additionally, he instructed concerned departments to initiate and award tenders for the remaining tasks to ensure timely completion.
