Kottayam: Mons Joseph, who won the assembly election from Kaduthuruthy, has been elected as the leader of the Kerala Congress legislative party. The decision was made during a meeting of the seven MLAs from the Kerala Congress party, held under the chairmanship of party chairman P J Joseph at his residence in Purapuzha, Thodupuzha. The meeting also elected the new legislative party office-bearers.
New Office-Bearers Elected
Thomas Unniyadan from Irinjalakuda was chosen as the deputy leader of the legislative party. Apu John Joseph from Thodupuzha was appointed as the party whip. Shibu Thekkumpuram from Kothamangalam was elected as the secretary, and Reji Cherian from Kuttanad was selected as the treasurer. These appointments reflect the party's strategy to strengthen its legislative team.
